Francisco Teixeira was born on February 9, 1981 in the city of Braga. Since childhood he has always been passionate about the arts, particularly for the art of painting and ceramic art, much influenced by his father Domingos Teixeira. By circumstances of the life, ended up not embarking by the art in its professional course, nevertheless it was always dedicated to this activity like hobby. For professional reasons, he has lived in the island of Madeira for 10 years and has fallen in love with the culture, traditions and landscapes of the island. His experience on this island motivated him to dedicate himself more fully to his true pleasure - painting and pottery. The themes that follow are diverse, but he particularly likes the figurative, framing everything that surrounds him and sometimes portraying customs and traditions of Madeira Island. He currently lives on the council of Ponta do Sol, Madeira, where he develops his work.
